Chromatic Glass 2.21

Chromatic Glass is an assistive tool designed to support individuals with color vision deficiencies by enhancing their ability to recognize and differentiate colors. This technology is particularly relevant for those with congenital conditions such as protanopia, deuteranopia, or tritanopia, as well as cases resulting from acquired illnesses.

Due to these deficiencies, users often perceive colors differently from individuals with normal vision, which can impact daily activities and tasks that rely on color differentiation. Chromatic Glass addresses this challenge by generating a specially modified version of the displayed image based on scientifically validated methods. The system alternates between the original image and the processed version in real-time, aiding users in better perceiving and distinguishing colors.

Developed by Kazunori Asada, who holds Ph.D. degrees in Medical Science and Media Design, this tool combines scientific rigor with practical application to improve accessibility for those with color vision challenges.
